Training on monitoring government purchases in Sumy

The training will take place in Sumy (Pokrovska Sq., 6) on September 7-8, 2013.

The training on analyzing and monitoring government purchases is held within the framework of the action “Expert association of the North-Eastern Ukraine against corruption in government purchases”. The action is being fulfilled by Bureau of policy analysis and is supported by The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) USA.

The purpose of the project is to minimize corruption in government purchases of goods, works and services. It can be achieved by forming an expert association on the territory of the North-Eastern Ukraine (Sumy, Kharkov, Poltava, Donetsk and Chernigov regions). The association will be capable to make high-quality analyses of government purchases in the regions covered by the project. The experts will spread the results of their analyses and inform public society and law enforcement bodies.

We invite public leaders and journalists of Sumy, Poltava and Kharkov regions to take part in the training.

The organizers will cover accommodation, transportation and catering of the training participants.
