The top topic of recent days is vaccination against COVID-19 of course, which has finally reached the regions. https://cutt.ly/UlW6JFe And here it should be noted that pro-Moscow garbage did not miss again the topic of vaccination in Ukraine. The vast majority of the population has a negative attitude to vaccination. Quite adequate people seriously say that vaccination is not necessary, that this is a “trick” of the world government and they want to chip us. This nonsense is impossible to listen to. Instead, we see a lack of information campaigns from the state and regional health authorities. There is no clearly structured information: Where? When? And who can make vaccines?

There is no answer to all these questions. In the public sphere, we do not hear comments, social advertising. Instead, we see an exclusively pro-Moscow narrative of non-vaccination, of a world government, and so on. And whether the Ministry of Health is aware of the centralized information campaign is a rhetorical question. The only thing they care about is enrichment on people’s lives.

Speaking of enrichment. There was an interesting bill last week. The people’s deputies expressed a desire to raise 140 million UAH from all hospitals and transfer by subvention to the hospital of the Center for Eye Microsurgery. Basically, the Eye Microsurgery Center is a business where patients are oficially and unofficially charged for the services provided. That is, the people’s deputies, despite the law “On Medical Grants”, just want to manually redistribute funds from other hospitals. It turns out that any chief physician who reaches influential groups in the Verkhovna Rada can agree on a kind of bonus +. The Ministry of Finance called the bill unfounded and some opposition deputies from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada criticized these intentions. This is a vivid illustration of the corruption schemes fueled by parliamentarians in the health sector. The people’s deputies are ready to take away 140 million UAH without a crisis of conscience from law-abiding hospitals that comply with the rules of the contract; they are ready to take funds for the treatment of oncology, tuberculosis, salaries to doctors. And to transfer funds to one of the hospitals in Kyiv without financial grounds.

This is not the first attempt of the Ministry of Health and Strepanov to financially help this institution. Last summer, the minister’s intention resulted in a huge scandal involving the forgery of signatures and future criminal cases. More https://cutt.ly/SlW5ISm

The conclusions are quite simple, the Ministry of Health is not strategically addressing the health problems of Ukrainians, they are trying to raise money on patients and hospitals. When it was profitable for Stepanov to buy a vaccine that is 5 times more expensive than the world price https://cutt.ly/9lEqllH we heard this problem on TV channels; when it is impossible to make money - the Ministry of Health is silent, shifting responsibility to regional health care structures and administration.
